The UAE announced that a four-day break as official Eid Al Adha holidays. According to the ministry of Human Resource and Emiratisation (Mohre), the holiday would be from Friday, July 8,till Monday, July 11.
Eid al-Adha is the latter of the two official holidays which are celebrated within Islam. It honors the willingness of Ibrahim to sacrifice his son Ismail as an act of obedience to Allah’s command.
