October 29, 2020 (Thursday), was announced to be the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (Peace upon Him) by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation and Federal Authority for Government Human Resources making it a one-day holiday for both the public and private sectors. The long-weekend will end on November 1 (Sunday) as working hours will resume on that day.
Prophet Muhammad was the final messenger of God and the last prophet in Islam. In remembrance of his birthday Muslims send their blessings and recitation of praises to Prophet Muhammad in mosques while reminiscing his faultless life and good examples.
